But this process leaves tiny ridges on the teeth of the comb which will grab, scratch, and over time cause split-ends or breakage. The best combs, like Kent combs, are made from cellulose acetate which is a plastic derived from plants (read: no static cling), and are hand-buffed so those rough edges are eliminated.

The Kent 82t is a folding comb that fits nicely in your pocket when folded up (4.25" long), and flips out into a full-size, 7.5” long comb with just over 3" of finely spaced teeth.
