Returns and Exchange Policies 

Because we deal in cosmetics The Bearded Bastard will not refund or exchange orders due to personal taste.  We will, however, provide an exchange due to allergic reactions. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, but we will pay outbound shipping of the replacement product.

Holiday Shipping Policies Returns and Exchange Policies 

Our shop is open every Monday through Friday now through December 22, 2018. We will be shipping orders and answering customer service requests daily until then. Most orders ship within 24 hours, but all weekend orders are fulfilled the following Monday.

Standard Shipping Policies

Normal shipping days are Monday through Friday, with a cut off time of 1:00 PM Austin, Texas time (CST) for orders to go out with that day's mail. Not sure which delivery option to choose? Here are the details on each method so you know when to expect your order.

FEDEX 2 DAY: The fact is that FedEx doesn’t deliver on weekends unless you or we pay an extra fee. This means isn’t going to get there in exactly 2 days unless you order before 9am Mon-Wed. Below is an accurate chart of when you should expect to see your package when ordered through FedEx 2day shipping.

USPS FIRST CLASS: Domestic shipping using USPS should typically arrive within 5-7 business days. However, DOMESTIC ORDERS SHIPPED under USPS first class mail are not considered lost until 14 business days after your intended delivery date! If your package doesn’t arrive at this point contact with your order number and tracking information and we’ll find the right solution for you.

USPS PRIORITY: This is a much better option than USPS first class if you are under a time crunch. This will ensure your package gets delivered faster than the typical 7-10 day turnaround.

International Shipping Policies

Howdy from the great state of Texas! We are pleased to offer shipping to our international customers. However, international orders can require a good bit of bastardly patience. Depending on customs wait times, your order may take up to 6-8 weeks to arrive at your destination — especially if you are using USPS First Class. We do not consider a package lost until 8 weeks after the fulfillment date. That is why we highly recommend using DHL for international orders as they are the most reliable with the shortest turnaround on delivery time.

Additionally, there may be customs fees and duty taxes on our package depending on the country you live in. Please be aware of your country's specific requirements before you order, or you may end up stuck with a fee you weren’t expecting. HERE is a link to a Duty and Taxes calculator for international shipping that you can fill out for further information on possible additional charges. We will not pay for any duty taxes, customs fees or VATs that may be added on in your country.

As another option, we are thrilled to say that have plenty of international stockists that may be easier for you to order from — and avoid costly added fees. See our International Retailers page to see if there is a brick-and-mortar or online retailer in your region that carries TBB products.

Frequently Asked Questions

My item arrived damaged

Well, damn! That's unfortunate. If you send us a picture of the damaged product along with a picture of the packing slip to help@thebeardedbastard we’ll get you sorted with a replacement straight away.

This is not what I ordered

Although we try hard to ensure 100% accuracy every time, we're not perfect. Send us a picture of your received items along with a pic of the packing slip to help@thebeardedbastard we will send you along the correct items.

It’s been X amount of days since I placed my order and it’s still not here — what’s the deal??

We love the USPS, and most of the time they're very reliable, but there are also times when things get… lost. Unfortunately, the USPS will not allow us to report a package missing if it has been less than 14 business days since the expected delivery date.

If you have waited two whole weeks from the time your order was supposed to arrive and it still hasn't shown up, e-mail us at help@thebeardedbastard with your order number. We will report the lost package to USPS and work with you to come up with a solution.

I didn’t mean to buy all this stuff!

While we are sympathetic to this issue — trust us — but ultimately we are not able to be responsible for mistakes ordered while whiskey-drunk. Watch yourselves!

I entered the wrong address!

No problem. Just e-mail us at help@thebeardedbastard as soon as you can and we’ll fix it in our system. However, if you don't get to us before the package has already shipped, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred in recovering the package.


I am trying your beard oil for the first time and my nose is happy but my skin is not!

ALLERGIES: While we use only the finest natural ingredients in our oils, it is possible that some of that stuff is not compatible with your specific skin type. This is why we suggest TESTING A SMALL AREA on your wrist before applying all over your beard to make sure all of our ingredients are compatible with your particular skin type. If you have any kind of allergic reaction DISCONTINUE USE of our product and get in touch with us at help@thebeardedbastard. If possible please include your order # or a receipt from a third party retailer in your message. We'll help to come up with a solution for you.

I have a special request for my order.

We have a NOTES section at the bottom of the screen on our checkout page. If you put your special request in there we’ll make sure it get’s taken care of by our dedicated packing and shipping team! Additionally, if it's a really super important or complex request you should send it along to help@thebeardedbastard in addition to putting it in the NOTES section to make sure we get it exactly to your liking.

Do you guys give out free samples?

We do not. However, if you are in the Austin area please feel free to stop by our Showroom at 209 E. Ben White Blvd #104 to say hey and try all of our products in person.
